A former MEATliquor manager is launching tacos and cocktails concept La Barra in Brixton Market.

Josh Whiting, also one half of quesadilla concept Killa Dilla and Tacos Del Ray, is opening on 14e Market Row, and will specialise in slow roast meat tacos, mescal, tequila and pre-batch cocktails.

He was part of the early team at MEATliquor operating the Meateasy stall.

Whiting’s Killa Dilla partner William Leigh opened fried chicken and cocktails concept Wishbone in Brixton Market with backing from MEATliquor’s Scott Collins, which later became ChickenLiquor and then MEATliquor.
