Sugar Dumplin, the Caribbean barbecue and rum bar concept, has confirmed it will open three new sites in 2016.
The group, which already operates in Glasgow and Camberley, Surrey, will open in Kingston next month and then Wembley in late August. As flagged up by MCA in March, the group will also open a kiosk within Leeds Trinity Kitchen in the autumn.
The Kingston site located in The Rotunda and will seat 60 covers while Wembley at London Designer Outlet 100+ covers. Each new restaurant will follow the Caribbean Rum Shack theme with candle-lit beach huts and live music.
Sugar Dumplin has been testing the concept in central London, taking up a pop-up residency within the Mewe360 business Incubator at 2 Soho Square. Alongside this they are also the sole food operator for London Beach Rugby in the city.
Following the success of these trials in central London, the group has said it is committed to finding a permanent site in Zone 1 for 2017.

Each restaurant has captured something unique from the history of Caribbean. We’re all about making customers feel special…just like they do when they holiday in the Caribbean’’.
