The Snowfox Group is looking for franchise partners for its 500-strong estate of sushi kiosks under the Yo! Sushi and Panku brands.

The kiosks have been successfully trading in Tesco and Asda and are now available under franchise licence, offering a tried and tested concept with proven revenue, growth potential, and a loyal customer following, according to the group.

In June 2023, Snowfox was acquired by Japanese foodservice company Zensho Holdings for $621m, with former backers Mayfair Equity Partners fully exiting the business.

The group operates c3,000 sushi kiosks and restaurants in North America and the UK, and opened its 500th UK kiosk in London in November 2023.

The estate includes c300 kiosks under the Yo! Sushi brand, in addition to c150 kiosks under Panku, which offers dishes such as noodles, gyoza, and Japanese fried chicken.

In December 2023, the group launched a new kiosk concept in partnership with Tesco. The Good Eats kiosk is the first of its kind for Snowfox and offers nutritious food-to-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a ‘build your own’ range including bowls, salads, hot flatbreads, and breakfast wraps.

The ongoing rollout highlights the growing demand for Japanese food across the UK, according to the brand, with the expansion of kiosks set to continue next year.
