Restaurant breaks £10m record The Wolseley in London’s Piccadilly has become the first restaurant in the capital to reach an annual turnover of more than £10m. The 160-cover restaurant, which is owned by Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, reported an 8% increase in turnover to £10.28m for the year to the end of March. Profits for the year stood at £689,727. The restaurant, which opened on 10 November 2003, serves on average 1,000 customers per day, and records takings of £20 per minute. Average spend per head is £38.
