Ramsay slammed over vegetarian pizza "trick"

Chef Gordon Ramsay is under fire for feeding meat to a vegetarian on his new television show, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. In the first episode he invites passers-by to try pizzas at La Lanterna, a struggling Italian restaurant in Letchworth, Herts. Ramsay tells one man identified as Bob that his pizza is a vegetarian one. But after Bob has eaten it, Ramsay reveals that it contained parma ham. Then he laughs and tells Bob that he hasn't come out in a rash. Angry vegetarians have denounced Ramsay's actions as offensive and unethical. The Sunday Telegraph 15/05/05 page 7
