Tortilla’s August sales were up by 50% Monday-Wednesday compared to the previous month, with two new deals announced to follow Eat Out to Help Out.

Every Monday in September, the brand will offer two burritos for the price of one, while tacos will be served for £1 each on Thursdays.

Both offers are available after 5pm for dine-in customers only.

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme saw Tortilla’s menu prices halve, with a signature burrito from just £3 or a full meal including tortilla chips, salsa and a soft drink for less than £5.

Tortilla Managing Director Richard Morris said: “It’s fantastic to see so many people back in our restaurants, making the most of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from both customers and crew. While our new house rules and procedures mean our restaurants look and feel different, crew have been excited to return to work and it appears our customers are happy to have us back!”

Tortilla has 32 restaurants re-opened across the country with two more coming this month: Tortilla Victoria Station on 1st September and Tortilla Southwark on 8th September.
