Proto Restaurant Group, which operates a collection of restaurants in Worthing, West Sussex, has opened a Greek restaurant called The Fat Greek Taverna.

The newest addition joins seafood specialtyThe Fish Factory and a higher-end restaurant called Food.

The Fat Greek Taverna specialises in meats and fish cooked on skewers over charcoal rotisserie pits with a large menu of small plates of traditional Greek mezze dishes and stone cooked breads.

The company, led by Andy Sparis, is producing its own Cypriot olive oil that it will soon begin importing to the UK sold in recycled wine bottles from Proto Restaurant sites.
