Megan’s is set to deliver £26m of revenue in the full year to 23 March 2023, with recent trading described as “exceptionally strong”.

The Mediterranean-inspired, dog-friendly restaurant group is set to open six locations this year with site number 20 in Guildford opening in April.

The operator recently opened its latest site at the Old Town Hall in Richmond, its 19th site.

The company said it was continuing its 100% record of profitable new openings.

Megan’s recently announced it had secured £5m in bank debt to ramp up its expansion and freehold property strategy.

Gill Clements, finance director, said: “Our financials speak for themselves; we are delivering what we consider best in class EBITDA conversion and we look forward to building on this financial success with the opening of site no. 19, Richmond. We have bold ambitions for the growth of Megan’s, and we will open 6 locations this year with site number 20, Guildford, opening in April.”

The company has not announced the appointment of a new MD since the departure of Sarah Hills last summer. Hills has since joined Cote as COO.

The company is chaired by Rod McKee and backed by Tossed founder Vincent McKevitt.

Richmond, which is close to the riverside, has 150 covers and is located across two floors, at 13 Hill Street, next door to The Ivy.

It will serve shakshouka baked eggs at brunch, through to posh kebabs and Mediterranean mezzes at dinner.
