McDonald’s will tonight launch a new strapline “We all have McDonald’s in common” as part of its latest advertising campaign which it hopes will show how the brand’s restaurants bring people together. The company also hopes the new strapline, which launches on TV tonight as part of its ‘Favourites’ ad campaign, will highlight the diverse range of people that have a common love for the brand. Alistair Macrow, vice president of marketing at McDonald’s UK, said: “Through a combination of emotional storytelling and recognisable real-life truths this campaign aims to remind people why they love McDonald’s and encourages our customers to celebrate both the shared and the quite individual reasons that make a visit to McDonald’s special.
