Merseyside restaurant The Warehouse, which is co-owned by Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard and a favourite eatery of celebrities and footballers, is up for sale as owner Paul Adams focuses on new cocktail bar project.

Adams, who opened The Warehouse 20 years ago, is directing his attention to Vincent Café and Cocktail Bar in Exchange Flags – which Gerrard is also an investor, reports The Liverpool Echo.

Vincent will open at the end of May serving a mixture of mixture of British and international dishes from breakfasts and brunch to lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and cocktails in the 190-cover restaurant space.

Open from 8am, Vincent will serve food and drinks throughout the day and night with a private dining area for parties or business bookings.
