Las Iguanas, the Casual Dining Group-owned, casual dining chain, has made its grocery debut with a chilled ready meals range.
Sainsbury’s has partnered up with Las Iguanas to create eight Brazilian, Mexican and Peruvian dishes.
The new range includes curries, tortillas and risotto-style dishes, with prices ranging from £3.50 to £4.
The meat variants include Creamy Lime & Peanut Flavour Chicken Xinxim and Chunky Beef & Black Bean Chilli.
James Lydall, buyer at Sainsbury’s, said: “We know our customers are eager to experiment with new cuisines and get a real taste of Latin American food, so that’s why we jumped at the chance to partner with leading restaurant Las Iguanas to launch our delicious new range of ready meals.”
Casual Dining Group’s Bella Italia chain recently also launched a 10-strong range of ready meals into Tesco.
