Kimchee, the Korean sister brand of Wasabi, has finally opened its second restaurant at Pancras Square, King’s Cross, almost two years after it was first revealed it was launching there.

Frederic Lluch, operations director of Kimchee, said: “The Pancras Square site provides an ideal location for our second Kimchee restaurant; a vibrant, busy area of new urban re-development in King’s Cross. We hope that the Kimchee concept enhances the square’s offering and provides locals with a unique and exciting dining experience.”

This is the second Kimchee restaurant to open in London and follows on from the original Kimchee, located just near to High Holborn underground station.

Kimchee Pancras Square is open six days a week and has capacity for 100 covers on the ground floor and 70 covers in the basement area.

Downstairs the restaurant has two separate private dining areas. One area is made up of specially developed BBQ tables that can be reserved for private dining. The second area features a private dining room that can seat up to 30 to be pre-booked for special dinners.

The brand also operates two food-to-go sites in central London.
