JRC Global, the operator of the JRC World Buffet chain, is to launch a new Japanese concept called Tokia later this summer.

The company has secured the old post office site in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre for the concept, which will deliver “high quality Japanese food at competitive prices”.

It is thought group will look to roll out the concept to further London suburbs over the next few years.

JRC is set to open the fourth site under its buffet format in Ilford, after securing a near 18,000sq ft site at Pioneer Point the mixed-use tower block. An opening in the third quarter of this year is scheduled.

The company recently secured the Cosmo sites in Cardiff and Swindon, plus the Aroma unit in Wood Green out of administration.
