JKS Restaurants is planning to open a new Bao and Hoppers in Kings Cross, MCA understands.
The Sethi family-run business has submitted a licensing application for unit 2 and 3, 4 Pancras Square, to Camden council.
The premises is located within the Pancras Square development and split over two levels, with a small amount of external seating.
Created by Erchen Chang, Wai Ting and Shing Tat Chung in 2013, Bao started its life as a market stall in a car park in East London, before opening its first permanent restaurant in April 2015. It now was three sites after recently opening its third in Borough.
The brand is backed by the Sethi family, which operates restaurants including Gymkhaha, Hoppers and Bubbledogs as part of JKS Restaurants.
