JCK Hospitality, the Thailand-based restaurant group which runs Hot Pot Asian kitchen in Chinatown, is opening a second London restaurant, in the City, MCA understands.

Rice Asian kitchen is a casual all day restaurant and take away opening on Cannon Street in September, and will serve Pan Asian dishes including soups, salad and hot dishes.

MCA understands JCK also owns the lease to a further restaurant site in St. James, former Italian trattoria 189 Piccadilly.

JCK has more than 150 restaurants in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, mostly specialising on hot pot, but also including a la carte and buffet menus that offer sukiyaki and Japanese grilled food and steak.

Listed on the Thai stock exchange, the group is run by Apichai Taechaubol and Chotiwit Taechaubol.
