Japanese fast food restaurant Yakiniku Like is to open its first site in the UK next year, in Soho, at 47 Greek Street.

The 2,200 sq ft site, secured by leisure and property agent Shelley Sandzer, will the brand’s first location in Europe.

Operated by Dining Innovation Group, Yakiniku Like has more than 260 sites across China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Indonesia and will join the group’s sister brand Kintan as looks to bring further restaurants to Europe.

The restaurant serves a range of meats, from wagyu beef, karubi and harami, to pork belly and chicken thigh, while guests can choose from different styles of grilling, including individual smokeless grills.

Commenting on the debut UK site, Dennis Maneefuangfoo, CEO of Dining Innovation UK Ltd said: “We are very pleased to be bringing Yakiniku Like to Europe, and what a better place to launch than in London.

“We believe our concept will be well received, suiting an array of lifestyles including individual visits and family occasions.”
