Five Guys UK, the popular US burger chain, is lining up a further two opening in the South East, as it gears up to open its 10th site in less than a year of trading here.
M&C Report understands that the company is in advanced talks to secure the Pizza Hut units in Harlow and Cambridge Leisure Park, for openings later this year.
The brand, which launched in the UK last July, will open its 10th UK site in Westfield London next week (9 June), with a further opening in Lakeside on 26 June.
The group, which is well funded by both American and high net worth UK investors, has already lined up a further opening in Solihull and is believed to be in talks on sites in Leeds and Glasgow.
It has a further site lined up for the new £18m extension of Whiteleys shopping centre in Fareham.
It hopes to have 20 open by the end of the year and has talked about targeting an estate of up to 250 sites in the UK.
