Dip & Flip, the French dip concept, has secured its fourth site – in Brixton – which will see it introduce a cocktail range for the first time.

Co-founder Oisin Rogers told MCA the opening in Brixton, which has been a key target for the group since it launched in 2014, is set for late May / early June.

He said: “It has a late licence so it will have a bit more of a wet offer than we’ve had previously. The menu hasn’t been finalised yet but we will be adding to it.”

On sales across the current estate he said: “We do well across the board but we’re particularly pleased with the growth in evenings and weekends. One thing we found when opened in Tooting was that the other two sites also got a boost – from the press that went with that and the wider exposure. Hopefully Brixton will have a similar effect.”

On future growth plans, he said: “There’s room for a good few more Dip & Flips around London by the time we’re finished looking at the suburbs. Sites outside the capital are for another day.”
