Denny’s is to open its second UK site in Renfrew, just outside Glasgow.
The restaurant is set to open at 5 Braillie Crescent, just off junction 26 of the M8, on the site of a former Toby Carvery.
The diner submitted plans to Renfrewshire Council earlier this month, which are awaiting approval.
The US chain opened its first restaurant in the UK in Swansea, in December 2017, after securing a seven-figure funding package from HSBC.
Housed under the Magic Brands Group, owned by Leon Esfahani, the chain has said it is looking to expand its reach across the UK over the next three years.
Esfahani has held franchises with Starbucks and Pizza Hut.
