Craft & Cleaver, the specialist craft beer and barbecue concept, is to open its second site later this summer, after securing a site in Milton Keynes.

MCA understands that the Adam Richardson-led concept has secured the Café Rouge site in the town’s The Hub scheme for an opening this June.

Richardson, who was previously named Britain’s Best Pub Landlord by the brewery industry association, Let there be Beer, opened the first Craft & Cleaver in St Albans in 2015.

He also operates The White Horse gastropub in Hertfordshire.

He previously told MCA that smaller sized market towns, similar to St Albans, with similar demographics would suit the Craft & Cleaver brand well.
