Chopstix has partnered with UK holiday operator Haven to open sites within its holiday parks.

The first site under the agreement will open at Haven’s Craig Tara park in Ayrshire at the end of May, with plans to expand to further sites in the near future.

Haven will oversee the full management of the sites, with training given by Chopstix.

The Asian QSR business recently announced plans to open 12 new sites this year through a mix of company owned and operated, and franchise, restaurants.

Chopstix, which was established in Camden Market 20 years ago, by Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, currently operates 80 locations in the UK and Ireland, 25 of which are franchise sites operated by the likes of Welcome Break and Applegreen.

Sadik, commented: “When Sam and I first started selling noodles on Camden Market, we never dreamed that we’d end up with a site on a holiday park in Scotland! This partnership is testament to how far the Chopstix brand has come, and I’m so proud of this partnership.”

Cain Savazzi, food & beverage director for Haven, said: “We are constantly looking at ways to improve our guest food and beverage experience and introduce new dining experiences, and we’ve been looking for a pan-Asian option for some time. Chopstix are the perfect partner for us, and we’re looking forward to opening at Craig Tara very soon.”

Haven operates 41 family holiday parks in England, Scotland and Wales.

Upcoming Chopstix openings include Brixton, Canary Wharf, Cardiff and Kingston-on-Thames before the end of July.
