Chipotle Mexican Grill, the Mexican restaurant chain, has retained Cushman & Wakefield to advise on potential expansion plans in the UK.

Cushman & Wakefield said the US-based firm, which currently operates six in central London sites, is considering additional locations before expanding outside of the capital. Sites ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 sq ft in the City and the West End will be sought.

Thomas Rose, partner and head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Leisure & Restaurant Team, said: “Chipotle is one of world’s leading restaurant brands and is already quickly becoming a firm favourite in London and we look forward to helping them develop their expansion strategy in the UK.”

Cushman & Wakefield earlier acted for Chipotle for its acquisition of a site in Wardour Street. Its other outlets are in St Martin’s Lane, Charing Cross Road, Baker Street, Upper Street and Wimbledon.
