The Cat’s Pyjamas, the fledgling Indian street food concept, is to open its fourth site, in Wakefield.

The group, which was founded by Alison White, has secured a unit in the town’s Merchant Gate development.

It comes hot on the heels of the group’s opening in York this month. Its other sites are in Headingley and Leeds.

Michelin-starred Indian chef, Alfred Prasad, collaborated on the menu for the concept, which has received praise from food critic, Jay Rayner.
