Burning Night Group and Pieminister are both set to make their debuts in Nottingham.
The former, which is led by Alex Hazzard, is set to bring its multi-brand format, which features Shooters Sports Bar and Bavarian Bierkeller to the city.
It would become the fourth openings for the company, which plans to open a further seven venues across the UK in the next three years.
At the same time, Pieminister, gourmet pie company, has been given permission to open a new site in the city’s Long Row.
It plans to invest £300,000 in redeveloping a vacant grade II-listed building in Long Row that was previously occupied by Boots into a gourmet pie and mash shop, creating 30 jobs.
It would become its largest site to date with over 140-covers.
The brand currently operates larger format sites in Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds and Manchester.
