Bone Daddies, the informal Japanese restaurant led by former Zuma head chef Ross Shonhan, has secured a site in east London at Bower Development, Old Street, M&C Report understands.

Bone Daddies has secured a 1700sq ft site in the new office development on Old Street roundabout which has 10 units for retail and dining brands.

The development is adjacent to Shoreditch Grind and the newly opened Ceviche restaurant as well as Draft House, which is understood to have secured a unit.

This is the third Bone Daddies restaurant from Shonhan who hinted in February he had an interest in that part of town. In November he opened a second site in Kensington within Whole Foods Market on the High Street to add to the first site in Soho on Peter Street, which opened in 2013.

Shonhan also operates Flesh & Buns in Covent Garden and a 12-month pop up on Soho’s Old Compton Street called Shackfuyu, which will become a permanent ramen restaurant after the initial year.
