New pay-as-you-go pizza concept Bite Me Pizza is opening its first site in west London this month and plans to roll-out a chain of affordable restaurants that will deliver pizzas using drones.

The 17-cover restaurant, located in Bayswater west London, will offer take-away and plans to make delivery available in the future.

The focus is on high quality toppings that customers can pick and mix to design their own pizza rather than having a fixed menu – this is in opposition to restaurants that quibble over ingredient substitutions.

Sustainability will be a core value of Bite Me, with interiors built from reclaimed timber and iron, cutlery made from biodegradable corn starch and carbon neutral delivery methods of bicycle, e-bike or, ambitiously, drones.
