Burger & Lobster has closed its Bath branch - one of three regional sites it put on the market in 2016.
The firm confirmed the closure of the Milsom Place branch yesterday.
The Burger & Lobster Restaurant Group recently admitted there was “material uncertainty” as to whether it could continue as a going concern after twice failing to meet its debt covenants.
In documents filed to Companies House at the end of December the directors reveal that the company was unable to meet the covenants on a £5m loan from Natwest in 2015.
B&L, which operates 14 sites in the UK and six overseas, placed its sites in Farringdon and the Old Bailey on the market in the autumn
Earlier in 2016 it placed Bath, Cardiff and Manchester on the market and subsequently closed the Cardiff restaurant.
It has continued to target openings internationally, with its first opening in Malaysia lined up for this year along with a second site in New York.
