BrewDog has launched its own apprenticeship programme, taking on 20 employees.

The firm has been working with the Skills for Growth initiative offered by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and Investors in People, which provides free consultancy and support to identify growth priorities.

The company is offering five business apprentices covering the supply chain, business administration, finance, customer service and IT, as well as 15 apprentices doing food processing and packaging.

The company has also forged inks with Ellon Academy and North East Scotland College, close to its headquarters.

The apprenticeship programme is being overseen by Jude Ross, who was appointed the company’s first ever happiness manager in January.
