Urban Gastro Pubs, the Liverpool-based group led by Mike Girling, has taken on two new pubs in the city.
The group, which already operates the Lodge in Lark Lane, has re-opened the Old Rope Walk pub as the Bier; and has followed this by relaunching the Dovedale Towers on Penny Lane as the Dovey.
The Bier, which now boasts over 50 imported bottled beers, also offers Pieminister Pies.
