Pub operator Stonegate raised more than £275k for charity from its Biggest Pub Tour that visited every Stonegate pub and bar around the country.

The nationwide pub crawl took in 614 venues over 124 days ending in London’s St Katharine Docks at the Slug and Lettuce to raise money for Variety Children’s Charity.

A giant passport was passed between the venues and a special Strawberry Pimms was served with a  50p donation to the charity for every glass served.

The company had hoped to raise £100k with the pub crawl but was pleased to pass that target in less than six weeks.
