Rileys is to take over the running of the high-profile Sports Cafe site in Haymarket, central London, M&C Report understands.
The group, which currently operates c60 sports bars and clubs across the UK, has signed a temporary lease to operate the site until 2015.
Yellowhammer, the troubled bar operator, closed the site earlier this year.
The company, which trades under a number of subsidiaries, underwent a strategic review last year that saw it exit a number of locations and has since closed more. Earlier this year it sold a package of three outlets to retro music bar operator Fever Bars.
In February this year a subsidiary, Yellowhammer Trading Limited, was placed in administration.
