New World Trading Company has secured the third site for its Florist concept, with an opening at Intu Watford.

The venue is set to open at the end of the year, joining Bristol and the soon-to-open Liverpool in the Florist stable.

The drinks offer is centred around cocktails served in gin vases and themed around the key styles of English Summer Garden, Ikebana and Modern, as well as 60 ales or beers/

The food is described as “distinctive eats from the deli and rotisserie to desserts” with floral clues such as the sharing Lavender Honey and Sunflower Loaf and the Elderflower Meringue with Caramelised Peaches.

As with all NWTC sites there will be live music every day and there will also be immersive masterclasses, in the crafts of cocktail making, gin tasting, ale tasting and floristry.

NWTC chief executive Chris Hill said: “We’re really excited to bring The Florist to Watford - the food and cocktails are so distinctive and I’m confident customers will be delighted by the unique concept The Florist has to offer.”

Rebecca Ryman, regional managing director at intu, said: “The Florist is going to be a very welcome addition to intu Watford’s £180 million expansion and the centre’s enhanced food, drink and fashion offer. It’s a great concept that will offer our customers a floral treat for all the senses, from the delicious cocktails and food to its beautiful décor and live music.”
