Mosaic Pub and Dining, formerly known as City Pub EIS Fund, has taken on a site at New Quay, Greenwich, MCA understands.

The 18-strong group has exchanged on the virtual freehold of the shell unit, which neighbours the Fuller’s site, Sail Loft.

Joint chief executive James Watson told MCA that the site would be converted into a premoium bar and dining offer.

He said: “We have been anticipating this acquisition for quite some time and are very excited to have a riverside presence in such an exciting, vibrant part of London as Greenwich. This brings the number of units owned under the Mosaic banner to 18, and we anticipate announcing further acquisition news very shortly.”

The group has raised a total of £41m through EIS funding over the past year to build a collection of pubs, principally in London and the Midlands.

Shelley Sandzer acted on the deal.
