Marston’s is to invest just over £1m in opening three new Que Pasa sites, which will take its estate under the high street bar brand to 20. The company opened its 18th bar under the brand in Doncaster earlier this month, with its 19th set to open tomorrow in Bedford. The 20th Que Pasa will open on 1 October in Watford. Paul Wright, brand manager, said: “We already have 17 successful bars around the country and these latest openings are critical to our overall expansion plans. Earlier this year the group said it aimed to extend the Que Pasa format, which it acquired as part of the Eldridge Pope estate for £155.1m in January, and was looking at converting 15 unbranded pubs to the bar concept within the next 15 months.
