Greene King has sold the former Hardys and Hansons brewery in Kimberley, just outside Nottingham, for an undisclosed sum.
Leicester-based Alif Group has agreed to buy the site, which includes two residential properties, ahead of a scheduled auction. It will pay more than the guide price of £1.25m.
Contracts were exchanged this week, with the deal due to complete in the New Year.
Greene King acquired Hardys and Hansons for around £270m in 2006 and shut the brewery at the end of that year.
