Fuller’s, the London brewer and pub operator, has announced a deal to stock Heineken draught and bottles lager at its managed pubs. The brands will be sold from this month. Richard Fuller, Fullers sales director, said: “Heineken is a fantastic addition to Fuller’s managed pubs, sitting well beside our own award-winning ales such as London Pride and ESB. This marks the start of an exciting partnership that will take us into 2012 and beyond.” Brian Chambers, national account director for Heineken in the UK, said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious new listing for our flagship premium lager. 2012 promises to be a big year for the Heineken brand in the UK, particularly in Fuller’s London heartland where consumer interest and awareness will be massively boosted by the Heineken Cup final at Twickenham and London 2012, where Heineken will be the branded lager served at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. “
