Fuller’s, the London-based brewer and pub operator, is to re-open two pubs in Bath following refurbishments.

The Crystal Palace pub is to re-open on 5 November with a newly refurbished interior featuring log fires and a large patio garden.

The Huntsman re-opens on 27 November and will include fine dining in the refurbished restaurant called the Elder Room, and a Fuller’s Brewery shop selling the company’s beers during the city’s Christmas market.

Both outlets were bought by Fuller’s last year, along with the Boater pub in the city. Combined they represent a total investment of £7.5m.

Kim Rennie, general manager of the Crystal Palace, said: “I am hugely excited by this opportunity to run such a beautifully refurbished pub with a great a sense of local history. Our new menu is produced using local and regional suppliers, our wines are exclusive to Fuller’s and you will always find an outstanding pint of London Pride here. Our secret garden is now even better and the perfect place all year round with patio heaters.”
