Fuller’s has further strengthened its managed estate with the acquisition of the Albert Arms in Esher, Surrey, in a deal believed to be in excess of £3m.

The company acquired the site in High Street through agent AG&G, which was acting on behalf of the pub’s trustees.

The three-storey property, which is spread over c4,200sq ft, features a first-floor roof terrace and a beer cellar.

The pub, which was established in 1853, has been empty since the end of July.

A Fuller’s spokesperson told MCA: “The pub will reopen when we have completed a full refurbishment. We do not have an anticipated opening date as yet.”
