Everards, the Leicestershire-based brewer and pub operator, will find out this week whether its plans for a £25 million scheme on a greenfield site that will include the relocation of its existing brewery, have been successful.

Plans for the scheme, which will will include a food village and visitor centre on the outskirts of the Leicester could be given the green light this week.

Blaby District Council is expected to back plans for a major complex on land between Soar Valley Way and the police headquarters in Enderby, which would include a brewery, units for food and drinks companies, restaurants, parking and sports facilities.
