After the announcement by Luminar, the UK's largest late-night venue operator, of the sale of the Camden Palace nightclub for £4.02m in cash to an undisclosed buyer, rumours about the identity of the new owner resurfaced.
According to popular conjecture, possible new owners include a theatre company and a brewery that plans to turn the venue into an all-day pub.
However, M&C Report understands that the new owner of the Grade II-listed Camden Palace is a property developer.
