Bowland Village Inns, the Lancashire-based group, has continued its expansion with the acquisition of the Ship at Caton, its fifth pub restaurant.
The group, which is led by Steven Greenhalf, secured the Derby Arms in Treales, near Preston, earlier this year.
It also operates the New Holly Inn, near Lancaster, the Punchbowl in Churchtown and the Plough in Galgate, and hopes to add further sites in the region.
