Mayuri Vachhani, formerly of Canteen and Ed’s Easy Diner, has stepped down as finance director of Big Easy Restaurants, operator of the Big Easy brand and the Clos Maggiore restaurant, MCA understands.
Vachhani joined the three-strong Big Easy back in March 2015, after a year and a half at Ed’s where she began as a finance consultant before stepping in to the role of director-projects-finance.
She previously spent just under two years as finance director at Canteen, after over three years as financial controller at ASK.
It is thought that the Big Easy, which operates three eponymous sites in London, is now looking for a head of finance following Vachhani’s departure.
MCA revealed in January that the proposed openings of the Big Easy and STK at the St Andrew’s Square development in Edinburgh had been cancelled.
MCA understands that the Big Easy site at the scheme has been put back on the market.
