The Restaurant Group (TRG) has appointed Loraine Woodhouse as a non-executive director.

She joins the company from today (4 July) and will become a member of both the audit and nomination committees.

Woodhouse is currently a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee at The British Land Company, and November 2018 to June 2022 was CFO at Halfords Group.

Before joining Halfords, she spent five years in senior finance roles at the John Lewis Partnership, including as finance director of Waitrose.

Previous roles have included CFO at Hobbs, FD at Capital Shopping Centres (subsequently Intu), and FD at Costa Coffee.

Commenting on her appointment, Ken Hanna, chairman, The Restaurant Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Loraine to the Board. As well as her strong listed finance experience, she has worked across many different sectors, with a particular focus on consumer service businesses.
