Martin Tovee has stepped down as a regional director of Patisserie Holdings, the parent company of Patisserie Valerie, Druckers and Phillpotts, after just six months with the company.

Tovee’s departure follows that of Adrian Johnson, who stepped down as managing director of Patisserie Valerie, earlier this year after joining the company last summer.

Tovee has joined the Paul May-led Patisserie Holdings as a regional director after just eight months with Whitbread.

Previous to that he has stints at Greene King as an operations manager and at EAT where here was head of operations for a year. He spent eight years as a regional operations director at Costa.

At the same time, MCA understands that company’s has ended talks to acquire the 13-strong Maison Blanc business, which was placed on the market last year, although still retains an interest in securing a couple of sites from the group.

MCA revealed last September that Maison Blanc’s owners the Kout Food Group had appointed advisors as part of a strategic review of the brand’s 13 sites and production facility.
