David Morgan, the former finance director – head of integration (UK & Ireland) has joined the Soul Foods Group as finance director, MCA understands.
Soul Foods currently owns and operates 370+ Starbucks, KFC and Taco Bell restaurants in UK and Canada.
Morgan told MCA: “I’m delighted to be joining the Soul Foods Group team. They have built an impressive franchised portfolio of coffee houses and quick service restaurants across the UK and Canada, with exciting and ambitious growth plans here in the UK and abroad.
“There is substantial investment planned for the group and my focus will be on transforming their finance organisation to support and enable that growth.”
Morgan spent more than 20 years with McDonald’s in a variety of roles. Prior to his most recent position he was finance director for the group in Ireland.
He starts his new role on 1 March.
