Simon Mitchell, the managing director of Kerb street food markets, has additionally been appointed as a director of Mission Kitchen, a food incubator business.
The start-up aims to provide affordable kitchen space to fledgling food entrepreneurs, with two sites due to open in autumn, in New Covent Garden Market in Vauxhall, and Loughborough Junction in Brixton.
As well as providing kitchen space to would-be operators, cooks and producers, the sites will host events, exhibitions, cooking classes, talks and tastings.
