Derek Mackey has left his role as sales director of Lancashire-based brewer and pub operator Daniel Thwaites, M&C Report has learnt.
He has joined horse feed manufacturer Dodson & Horrell to head up its sales and commercial arm.
Steve Magnall, managing director at Daniel Thwaites Brewery, said: “Derek did a superb job for us at Thwaites and whilst we were upset to see him leave, we respected his wish to develop his career with this new opportunity.”
Mackey’s previously worked at Greene King as sales director - national accounts. He has also held senior roles at Global Brands, Heinken, Bass and Anheuser-Busch.
