Deliveroo has appointed Adam Bishop as its new vice president of strategic restaurant partnerships.

Bishop, who joins from BBC Studios, will be responsible for leading the global enterprise account management, global new business, Deliveroo Signature platform and commercial partnerships divisions with the delivery company.

He has spent the past five years as senior vice president and chief commercial officer for EMEA key markets within the BBC’s the international production and content financing and distribution division.

Prior to that he spent 13 years working at Procter & Gamble, in a range of senior commercial and management roles.

Deliveroo said it was focused on increasing choice and selection for customers, working with more restaurant and grocery partners, and offering new tools to help restaurants grow their businesses and improve efficiency.

This includes its white label offering, Signature, which enables restaurant partners to create a direct channel to consumers for delivery, while leveraging Deliveroo’s technology platform, logistics network and customer care service.
