Caprice Holdings has appointed Simon Allison as its new head of marketing.

He will oversee its restaurant venues including Scott’s, Balthazar and Sexy Fish.

Allison was previously head of marketing at Bill’s Restaurants – also backed by Richard Caring – a role he’d been in since August last year.

Prior to that he’d spend more than seven years at Inception Group as head of marketing.

Meanwhile Pedro Nunes has been promoted from operations manager at Caring-backed The Ivy Collection, to operations director.

Caprice Holdings is due to open a second Sexy Fish restaurant, in Manchester’s Spinningfields.

It is also due to open a second Scott’s, in Richmond, this autumn, more than five decades after the original seafood restaurant opened on Mount Street in London.
