The Big Table has appointed Lauren Burrill as the new marketing director of its Café Rouge business.

Burrill joined the business last month from GLH Hotels, where she was marketing director and previously head of brand management. Her previous roles also include brand manager at Royal Caribbean International.

She will report to Steve Worrall, who was appointed brand director at Café Rouge and The Mulberry earlier this year.

Alan Morgan, CEO, Big Table Group, said: “Having worked with Lauren in the past and seen first-hand how she operates, I’m delighted that she has decided to join the Big Table Group team. I’m sure she will be a fantastic addition to Steve’s team as we look to grow our business.”

Burrill added: “The Big Table Group is home to some of the UK’s favourite restaurants and an exciting business to have joined. Café Rouge holds a special place for many people so I look forward to taking on this new role to help nurture and grow the Café Rouge brand.”

Last month The Big Table announced it had appointed KFC’s head of franchise and development, Paul Stokes, to the new role of head of acquisitions.

Stokes will oversee strategic acquisitions and expansion plans across the group’s portfolio of brands which includes Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge.
